My portfolio page will display some work that I think showcase me and things that I have done. Enjoy!

The first piece of mine that will be featured is an Instagram account that I made during my first semester at SU. This account was a project for my first year seminar course. We had a lot of creative freedom, all we had to do was create a type of project for ourselves and display it in some way. This next piece was a research paper that I did in my Writing and Thinking class in my first semester. The topic I chose to research was diversity in the publishing industry. As you might see, a lot of these pieces relate to my major in some way. This is something that you see at SU, a lot of the course you take that are outside of your major encourage you to bring in your major and incorporate it into the class in some way.

The next two pieces are ones that I wrote in my first year seminar class at SU. This was a group project where me and the other members of my group wrote about some ways that the female body are looked at and the things that they go through. Are main focus was body image, we each did some research that could help put us in a mindframe of a woman going through the things we talked about, so the subjects were not necessarily things that we have gone through. I am not a creative writer, so this was me exploring a whole new medium. With that being said, these two pieces are something that I am very proud of.

The last piece that I am adding to my portfolio is my Progetto Finale from my Italian class that I took for two semesters last year. This was a group project where we had to showcase what we learned in the different sections/chapters from the class. It was a fun way to show what we learned and how we could be creative with it.
